Half way through the weekend and I am tired of sport already. Is that possible? All I can think about right now is how the Sharks are taking over the South African version of the Super 14. Don't you find it amazing that we, here on the southern tip of Africa, seem to be ignoring the top 4 sides in the competition? There are four great sides who are going to be contesting the semi-finals and all we can think about is how the Bulls better beat the Cats to get on top of the Sharks. Of course, the Bulls did beat the Cats, we all saw that coming and the Sharks are now the 2nd best SA team.
Remember back in the begining of the season please, when the two jockeys and other enlightened sports reporters on Superport were predicting that the Cheetahs and the Sharks were going to be the sides looking at relegation????
The more I am writing in the blog, the more I realise that one should never ever predict sport. There are so many things that can change, go wrong or be bet on, that it's not worth it. The journos would say that it takes a man to predict and then stand by your argument. Ha! Just talk about the sport, why predict?
And could someone please bring Brian van Rooyen back to SA Rugby to sort out the KAK!!
