Altech Porsche Challenge Series

The official launch of the Altech Porsche Challenge took place at Wesbank Raceway on the 8^th & 9^th April. The launch of this newly sponsored Porsche Series was part of the Autodealer Racing Spectacular event, which offered spectators a busy line up of motorsport racing and entertainment

Leading technology convergence group Altech made the decision to sponsor the Porsche Challenge Series to become more involved in local motorsport. There are two Porsche racing series within the Altech Porsche Challenge being the Altech Porsche Unlimited and Altech Porsche 924 series

The Wesbank crowd were entertained to thrilling qualifying rounds for both classes on the Saturday. 50 Cars took part in the various races, which resulted in supercar racing of the highest calibre and highlighted the event to be the most exciting series in Regional Racing

The launch of the Altech Porsche Challenge Series was a huge success and all involved are looking forward to the entertainment value that this series will bring to the South African motorsport fan and competitor alike in the up and coming rounds

The next round of the Altech Porsche Challenge Series takes place on the 27^th May at Kyalami circuit.
