CELTIC STILL IN RELEGATION TROUBLE

This weekend's PSL results hav seen some dramatic movement, not just at the top of the table but just as importantly at the bottom where Bloemfontein Celtic find themselves back in the relegation mire.

With bottom placed teams FS Stars and Classic winning and Celtic losing 1-0 to Swallows, the two spots in the Mvela League look far from decided.

The crunch match should come this weekend when Celtic û in 12th spot û host Classic in Bloemfontein. The Tembisa team is still second from last, but their win over Chiefs at the weekend leaves them with a good chance to avoid relegation. They have two matches in hand and are on a roll.

Celtic meanwhile, on 30 points, are only four points clear of Classic and will need at least four points from their remaining three fixtures to be certain of survival. After their six-pointer against Classic they face Bush Bucks û also in the drop-zone û and then come home to face Silver Stars in their last game of the season.

While most of the attention this week will be on Chiefs, Pirates and Sundowns, all chasing the title, spare a thought for the also-rans as they battle for vital and potentially lucrative points, and no game will be bigger than the Celtic-Classic match in deciding who stays up.
