Technology in Cricket

I am watching SuperCricket on Supersport right now. Not because I want to because I can't stand Mike Haysman, but that's just me.

They are waffling on, as Supersport do so well, about Hawkeye and technology in cricket. You know what would solve this whole debate about technology in sport? Get rid of it. Some people are saying that Hawkeye didn't work correctly in the final test between South Africa and Australia. If it didn't work, how can you ever trust it again? At least we know that humans are going to make mistakes. It's part of the game!

Hawkeye can't pick up nicks off of the bat. The sound thingy doesn't work with the snikcometer. What is the point? The crowd at the ground don't get any benefit, the players seem to be betwiz and between. Can it, get rid of it!

If an umpire keeps making mistakes, he gets taken off the test panel. If technology doesn't work, so should it!
